Michael Henry

Michael Henry's career
includes ten years as an executive director of human service agencies
followed by ten years in public life, during which he served as
President of the Liberal Party of Alberta, Chief of Staff of the
Liberal Caucus, and MLA for Edmonton Centre in the Provincial Legislature
(1993-1997). Mobilizing stakeholders to support positive change
has been a cornerstone of his successful career. His experience
provides clients with an insight into the workings of government,
politics, advocacy and lobbying. Michael provides clients
with strategic advice and planning in community, government and
corporate relations, and legislative and regulatory analysis. He
has provided leadership training to many organizations, and has
worked in the field of rural community development.
Michael holds an MBA from
the University of Alberta and undergraduate degrees in Arts and
Social Sciences. He is a Certified Association Executive with
the Canadian Society of Association Executives. He is currently
Associate Dean, School of Business, Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton.
